Venue Information:
The Fritz-Walter-Stadion first opened it's pitch in 1920 and over the course of it's life it has had many additions which give it's unique modular look and feel. In 1985 the stadium was renamed to Fritz-Walter_Stadion in honer of the 1954 lendendary German Captain.
Part of the renovation include a media and VIP tower, reconstruction of the West and South side stands and reconstruction to the North side stands.
